It was also discovered that the modern taskbar does not allow users to ungroup items/apps. It appears that the Windows 11 taskbar does not come with a full-fledged right-click (context) menu and it is no longer possible to drag a file or app to the taskbar. But as it turns out, the downgraded taskbar is a deliberate design choice by Microsoft and it looks like they will not make any big changes for now. Microsoft still has the time to introduce new changes including support for Android apps and new features for the taskbar. Reports have suggested that Windows 11 will be released in the production channel in late October. Windows 11 is in the last phase of testing and the final build of the operating system could be signed off as soon as early September.
